SPORTS MEET :: 2019-2020
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Sports day will begin sharply at 9:30 am on 27.07.2019(Saturday). The attendance will be taken by the departments either in class room or in the tents
- All the athletes and prize winners should report at the allotted tent near the stage with their department sports uniform.
- Before the prize distribution all the students should assemble in front of the stage.
- Taking tables, desks from the class rooms and flower pots from the college arena to the tents is totally forbidden.
- The victory celebration should be in the college playground (No celebrations outside the college).celebrations should not hurt other’s feelings.
- Use of crackers, drums and bike rides inside the campus is totally forbidden.
- Past pupils are not expected to be present for the sports day.
- Students with serious health problems, (like heart diseases, undergone major surgery, suffered major bone fracture, chronic asthma, etc.) are requested to abstain from sports events.
TENT
- The areas for department tents will be allocated on 26-07-2019.
- Half of the amount for hiring chairs, based on the strength of the department will be given by the college (Rs. 5 per chair). The amount can be collected from Vice principal’s office assistant Mr.Arun (shift-I) and Additional Principal’s office assistant Mr.Gnanaraj (shift-II).
- Livestock’s should not be brought inside the tent or inside the playground.
- The department are expected to dismantle the tent and clean the tent area as soon as the sports day gets over, to enable our college teams to practice for the university tournament.
MARCH PAST
- The march past practice will begin from 22.07.2019 to 25.07.2019. On 22-07-2019 & 23-07-2019 the combined march past can be held during the last hour (12:25 to 1:15 p.m) of shift I and on 24-07-2019 & 25-07-2019 last hour (5:00 to 5:45 p.m) of shift II.
- The grand rehearsal for March past will be on 26.07.2019 (Friday) at 4:00 pm for both shifts I & II in the college play ground.
- On the sports day, the participants of the march past should assemble at 8:30 am.
- The cash award for March past can be collected from Vice principal’s office assistant Mr.Arun (shift-I) and Additional Principal’s office assistant Mr.Gnanaraj (shift-II).
